economic chaos / headache 4

well folks it's election time again! Gas prices are in the clouds, jobs are scarce across the country and we still have are men and women in the middle east....I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, that is your God given right on freedom to vote.(FREEDOM) lets think about this for a moment shall we. The question is do you want your freedom taken away or do you want to keep everything that was fought for in blood,sweat and tears!  I have one Question about our candidates running?  one man can care less about the middle class as long he gets what he wants, the other is trying to keep it real as possible, at least that is what is portrayed to the American people...Do you want a mormon to run the country? or do you want someone who says is a christian?   Right now I personally don"t want a mormon president because your religious freedom will be gone in a flash!!! and at least right now we still have our freedom as an American people..think about this for a minute!! One man wants to stay at war with our neighbors and the other wants to bring them home. taxes will be so high thru one that the middle class to lower class will lose everything if they go with another candidate. or you can stay and ride it out with the current candidate..oh and healthcare under the running candidate, Women will have no say in anything, women's rights will be set back 100 yrs....at least under the current candidate women have a right to choose...think about what it would be like to have no freedom of religion or freedom to vote,speech, right to assemble in public, right to bear arms,  these rights will go bye bye under the running candidate..( now I know this will upset some people, and I am sorry) but this is how I feel about the way this election is going and I personally don't want another Republican to ruin this great nation of ours!!! 

economic chaos/ headaches 3.1

hello again!  well as know we coming in elections again, and everything seems to be in turmoil with all that is happening. Again jobs are still hard to find and employers still don't want to pay a good wage for employment..In the last month Lexmark has laid off 1700 people! ( 1700) now lets think about this for a moment, Does this sound like our economic growth in the plus?  YEAH RIGHT!  I've got land on pluto for sale! this is how much **%$#@  that is given to the American people!!! And I haven't even touched on Gas prices at the pump!  Last week I saw prices roller coaster, I got gas as low as 3.54 a gal, then it went up to 3.68 a gal, then 3.84 a gal. and this was at one station in less than 8 hrs or less!  then there were 2 stations across the road from each other---3.68 at one 3.98 at the other!  talk about empty pockets to pay for gas!! Now here's a real boot to the HOLE, prices around GA especially around Atlanta are above 4.00 in some places...but they have ALT. backup called the MARTA system..which is their small rail and bus system they use to get from all over. And for what you pay in Gas prices at the pump,  it might be cheaper to just ride the secondary to get where you need to go.  But since I don't live in Atlanta, I really can't give a good rant about how things are being handled by the people of this awesome state!   FOLKS I CAN'T KEEP RANTING ABOUT THESE THINGS IF NOBODY CARES ENOUGH!!  IT TAKES EVERYONE TO SAY WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS CRAP ANYMORE!!!! I'm tired of being taken to the cleaners over gas prices and no jobs and so forth!! But when you go to the polls, please please please-keep in mind that whomever you vote for, make it count for something!

economic terrorism pt3

hello again America!  This is your wake up call again!!!  here we are again talking about things such as economic issues and prices at the pump and being dumped on.....well WE are being dumped on again!!! today as I was driving thru town I noticed that gas prices not only jumped between 25 to 40 cents a gal..and it depends on which station you go to...it all jumped up in less than 8 hrs..speedway is now 3.48, UDF is now 3.69 and BP is now at 3.85 a gal..now you figure that if you subtract the above that is what it was for last weeks prices and some was lower...now to me this is just not right and we as a people need to just say enough is enough ,  YEAH right our economy is in recovery, jobs are still scarce and things are still not right with our system....personally I think this is just a conspiracy with the oil companies to drive prices up so they get a big profit and we get the shaft and paying the bill after all is done and said!!!I could care less if it is an election year..Wake up folks! they are just putting fright in your life when they should be putting hope and trying to do a better job about the economy...I can't stress enough that you America have the power over what happens not what goes on up on the hill...recall the Governors and the senators and representatives that are not looking out for the interests of the people..I for one have had enough with the jumping around of  prices in stores or at the pump. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ABOUT THIS MATTER...folks we can not survive as long as this keeps on track like it is...WAKE UP AMERICA BEFORE IT IS TO LATE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT....DON'T WAIT UNTIL ELECTION TIME TO TRY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, DO IT NOW !!!

vultures+thives= big oil companies pt.2

I posted about the first part of this months ago- here is the continuation of that! gas prices are all over the board and it's getting crazy!  as employment is either growing or drying up in areas, it seems that every time that the knuckleheads in Washington aren't getting a bonus to go on vacation or can buy the wife/ mistress whatever they please we get the pointed end of the shaft...so they find a reason to raise gas prices...yesterday I got fuel for 3.56 a gal and within 4-6 hrs it jumped to 3.85 or higher, now i wonder what there excuse was this time!  maybe thunderstorms, no wait SNOW STORM, no wait - dry weather,  Well America you pick one!!  It really doesn't matter what the excuse they will find one and use it to scare the hell out of everyone   I think it's time to tell these guys to get there hands out of the till and  put back on the ends of the table with a pen in there hands to figure how to get this under control considering they made this mess in the first place!!!!!  Of course they will point the finger at others for the blame and  say it is not my problem  ,BUT  it is there problem and they should be the ones who have to pay for this SIN they  have  created!!!      WE ALL PAY THE PRICE FOR THERE GREED!  NOW WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO TO SAY NO MORE-- BOYCOTT?  It will not happen .. AMERICANS feel they shouldn't get involved and they sit back, especially the ones whose income is not effected because of lots of money and wealth!!  Well one day it will, and boo hoo you lose all.. nobody will care at that point!!!! no one cares now as long as there little world is not encroached upon from the outside!!!!  GET REAL AND GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND LIKE A BIG BIRD!!!!
        This is all I have to say about it, since there is a GOP race in effect and sensible people have other little problems to deal with at this point!!   Remember who"s running,  prices and jobs could go to the Moon and America would be in more trouble than you will ever think!  THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MOMENT! 

EMPLOYMENT HEADACHES

They say that the economy is picking up!  they say jobs are coming back to the area!  When are we going to see the real numbers of how the economy is really doing!   the reason that i am writing this is that 2 manufacturing plants right here in my town have shut down, one is doing a complete liquidation of all assets of equipment and material!  they are holding an auction in April to sell off everything.. the 2nd plant is just sitting idle with no movement at all, no workers, no trucks in or out,nothing at all!  Appleton paper near here is is gone, hundreds of jobs lost!  the postal service has closed it's sort service and moved it to another part of the state!!  Now the oil companies decided to raise gas prices and those who can't afford to pay for it are going to suffer!  I keep posting these concerns for the benefit of everyone who reads this Blog!!  ONLY YOU MR.AND MRS.AMERICA CAN TAKE A STAND TO SAY NO MORE!!!!!!  It will take us all to call or write to our Government Reps. especially in your areas that you live to let them know that all of this is not Exceptable!  High gas prices is just simply Highway robbery !!!!!  It will take every person to make there voices heard....WAKE UP BEFORE YOUR RIGHTS ARE GONE AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!  I don't know what else to say, getting run over by policy makers is getting to much and nobody seems to give a $%#^^$  about it, even when it funnels down hill to the lowest man!!!! well one day it will end and it will be to late, so those of you who say it will not happen, you will be the first one it grabs..and it will happen!!!
                      WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!! YOU ARE GETTING BLED DRY AND THERE WILL BE NO FUTURE FOR ANYONE!!

What's on the Menu Today...BACON!!!

Mmm...Bacon!  Fat, succulent meat cut from the belly of big old hog, fried up and sizzling in it's own grease.  Only I'm not actually talking about food here this morning.  I had another kind of fat hog in mind to carve up today--the OIL COMPANIES!!  For those of you following me on google+ you already saw me post my friend Verna's blog and I had to add my two cents. 

The economy sucks, there's no jobs anywhere, and none of that is new news.  Especially not for me.  I grew up in southern Louisiana and I've seen it all happen before back home.  Morgan City had plenty of jobs when I was little.  You could stand on the levy and look out at the gulf and count the oil rigs off shore.  My grandfather worked for one of the oil companies down there too and my dad worked for a company that supplied pipe packing material to the rigs.  Then some bunch of executives in the oil industry got the bright idea to cap wells that were still producing, lay off all the workers and start getting nearly all our oil from OPEC.

One thing the Deep Water Horizon disaster proved is that there's still an abundant supply of oil in the gulf.  But I already knew that.  There is no shortage of oil that we could produce right here in the US folks.  NONE!! There are thousands of capped wells out west too.  I saw those when I drove a semi cross-country.  You know what all that capped oil could be?  JOBS!!!  Hundreds of thousands of jobs!  Cheap prices at the pump!  More jobs in the auto industry again as people could afford new cars.  Cheaper merchandise in the stores 'cause it wouldn't cost so much to ship everything too.  In other words, a BOOMING economy instead of a failing one!!

So why is our government continuing to allow these fat hog oil companies to bury us?  It is within the government's power to say "Enough!" and take over the old wells and cap prices at the pump until the economy recovers.  I keep hearing "The government is not in the banking business" "The government is not in the car making business" "The government is not blah, blah, blah!" How about the government being in the business of doing whatever it takes to get the country solvent again?  How about the government being in the business of getting people off unemployment and welfare and back to work again?  How about the government being in the business of giving us all some hope that things will be better in the future?

Guess what GOVERNMENT!  That IS your JOB!!  The welfare of this country is your JOB!  The economy is your JOB!  It is your JOB to cut the blight and right now the oil companies are causing economic stain and blight to our country!  Not to mention the fact that we keep handing over billions of dollars every year for oil to the middle east, the very people who would like nothing more than to see us crumble as a nation.  Tell me how that makes any sense at all? 

The truth is WE DON'T NEED FOREIGN OIL!!!  We have our own, more than enough to last until a viable alternative is on the market.  If the oil companies cry that they don't have enough refining facilities to produce more fuel, order them to build more!  It's jobs to build more and run more refineries. WIN!  Give them a deadline to produce an affordable alternative fuel.  There's no excuse for them to not be producing ethanol and methanol in abundance.  Cars back in the '40s used to run on the stuff, its not like the car makers don't know how to build engines that can use it.  Sugar is the best source for ethanol and every state in the country can grow sugar!  Every garbage dump in the world produces methane and so does every pig farm, cattle farm, and waste water treatment plant!  These sources are available RIGHT NOW!! We could start production, get people back to work and get the economy strong again all before the next presidential election if the government would just step up, DO THEIR JOB and take charge of the situation! 

America needs to step up and be a leader in the world again and this is how to do it!  Stop being dependent on foreign oil and become the world leader in alternative fuel production!  It's time we carve a big old chunk out of the belly of that fat oil hog and fry us up some bacon!  WAKE UP AMERICA!!  It's BREAKFAST TIME!  Whose HUNGRY?

hello everyone!  this is going to be a fun year. The GOP can't seem to get there affairs in order!  BIG SURPRISE.. since these guys can't come to a mutual ground maybe they need to all drop out until the next big election in 4 years from now!   the reason for this blog is gas is going up again and more jobs seem to be leaving again!  there is a company that has been here for awhile, FORTIS plastics has decided to leave the area and move else where.  more jobs are going away and this is unfair to the  people in the area!  we have all the people from our GOVERNMENT trying to see if they can get something for nothing... at least that is how i view things being with no job because they are to busy worrying about trivia that really isn't really important right now! GIVE GIVE GIVE that what they always are wanting from those that don't have it to give.. what are we to do now?  God forgive us if the wrong people get into office!!!  AMERICA YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!!  Please look around you and your community and decide what is most important....people are  till losing there homes due to mortgage companies keeping to higher rates and banks still not lending and so forth and so on!!!
